Tijdens een wandeling dit weekend in de Ardennen stond ik, komende uit het bos, plots voor een verkeerslicht dat zich aan de zijkant van het wandelpad bevond.

Er viel geen touw aan vast te knopen waarom dat ding hier werd neergepoot.

Geen kruispunt in de buurt, geen verkeer te bespeuren en toch wisselde iedere anderhalve minuut het licht van groen over oranje naar rood en weer terug.

Ook verderop geen spoor meer van lichten. Te gek voor woorden en zo totaal misplaatst dat ik gewoon een foto van dit "dwaallicht" moest maken...

During a walk in the Ardennen last weekend, comming out of the woods, I was stopped by a traffic light in the middle of nowhere at the side of the promenade.

After a thouroughly investigation I couldn't possibly find out what was the use of it at all.

No crossroad in the neighbourhood, no traffic within miles... but every minute and a half it changed from red to green and back. It was such an hilarious misplaced thing that I simply needed to take a picture of this "Wil-o'-the-wisp".
